We called them back and explained the situation for the 3rd time. About a week later a single coffee table was delivered. When we called we were told that the glass had broken during shipping so they did not deliver it? We explained that we only needed the couch and ottoman and after some confusion on their part they assured us that they had sorted it out. Weeks went by, the delivery never happened. We reached out to customer service and they said they would resend a couch and ottoman in the right color. One problem, the couch and ottoman were the wrong color. Relatively soon after the order was place the set was delivered. The set included a couch, chair, ottoman, and coffee table with a glass top. Years back my parents bought us an outdoor patio set as a house warming gift. Probably won’t order from them again.ĭon’t be surprised if the Wayfair vanity shows up at your house 3 weeks from now. The furniture is nice and it worked out but the transaction was stressful. Notified Wayfair and they picked it up the next day. Please don’t send me another one! I told the rep I would probably need to return the dresser but to give me a few days to confer with my wife.
It was supposed to be delivered in a couple months which was fine because it was still well before the baby would arrive.Īs we got closer to the date the crib was supposed to be delivered I got a call from Wayfair telling me the manufacturer wasn’t producing the crib anymore and they couldn’t find one in any of their warehouses. The dresser was delivered two weeks later but the crib was on back order. 6 months ago I ordered a crib and dresser for a baby room. Hopefully the vanity will ship Monday, or sooner, and I'll have no more to say on this topic on Reddit. So that is the end of our saga with Wayfair. I even have a tracking number for the vanity and can see that it is currently 20 mins away from me at a warehouse. I even called Amazon to ask some questions about the delivery and without my requesting it they updated me to "White glove delivery" at no added charge. I still don't know what happened to the vanity, but we ended up buying the same one on Amazon and it's supposed to ship Monday between 6-9am.

The driver said that in the morning, the warehouse manager couldn't find our vanity for a very very long time, and so this is what he grabbed and loaded onto the truck. Upon opening it we discovered someone else's vanity was in our home, with his name and address on it.and no, they didn't have the correct one on the truck. I explained the situation to them after which they agreed to "do me the favor." The delivery man asked me to sign for the box, and I asked them to please wait until my husband opened it. My husband, 2 year old, and I stayed home and waited, after running some errands in the morning.Īt 5 pm the delivery men arrived and brought the large box containing the vanity to the driveway and would not bring it in. I was also promised White glove service (deliver to room of choice, unwrap, and "assemble.")
After I complained to the CEO of Wayfair and some other folks high-up on the chain I was promised the vanity would be delivered last Saturday between 1-5pm.
